Film studio pioneers appear larger than life on the sweeping four-projector cyclorama, while a richly detailed topographic map projection illustrates their lasting influence on the physical landscape.

A playful monkey. An ostrich fluffing its feathers. A trolley rolling down the street. Going big didn’t mean ignoring the details. We tucked playful surprises into the map and created a vintage look that immerses audiences in the era. We also started testing at full scale early to perfect the placement and flow of visuals, and teamed up with the exhibit fabricator to crack the challenge of projecting onto a 3D topo map.
