Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative Associate Project Manager to join RLMG’s team. This role is essential to helping manage timelines, budgets, and communications across a range of creative projects—from linear media and exhibit interactives to innovative museum visitor experiences across whole institutions. As an Associate PM, you’ll support Project Managers, Interactive Producers, and creative leads to keep projects running smoothly from kickoff to delivery. You’ll help coordinate internal teams, manage external vendors, track milestones, and ensure deliverables are aligned with creative vision and client goals.
A successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the production process for linear and interactive media, its successful incorporation into public and virtual experiences using a wide variety of techniques and technologies, and will have an enthusiasm and aptitude for leading creative teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
This is a full-time, hybrid position requiring 2+ days in our Watertown, MA office per week, and occasional project travel.

Responsibilities
Project Management
- Maintain and update project plans, schedules, and shared documentation with Project Manager(s) on multiple projects.
- Facilitate the creation of all agreed upon project deliverables.
- Communicate clearly with the project team, client, and other stakeholders as needed; schedule and document internal and client-facing meetings.
- Assist in the day to day management of projects using the tools and methodologies of RLMG and its organization, ensuring project goals are met or exceeded with allocated resources.
Team Leadership
- Infuse project teams with your positive energy, creativity, and problem solving skills.
- Ensure that all team members are comfortable with and informed of their project roles, supported in their work, and valued for their contributions.
Fiscal Management
- Help to ensure that projects are delivered to clients on time and within our resources.
Client Relationship Management and Company Representation
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, fellow contractors and advisors to the benefit of the project and RLMG’s reputation.
- Under direction of Project Manager, communicate with clients on project design and development, so that all feel well informed and part of our process.
- Uphold and reinforce RLMG’s company values exemplifying us as talented, disciplined, passionate, adventurous, and engaged with the world.
- Represent RLMG and its projects as an external liaison at industry conferences and events, professional gatherings, and to colleagues and potential clients.

Job Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role, with experience in media, design, exhibition development required
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Comfort with reviewing and creating schedules, budgets, project documentation
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a creative environment
- Familiarity with project management tools and a wide range of administrative and creative software (Google, Adobe, Microsoft, etc.) for effective project implementation
